“We started planning our Yorkshire tipi wedding last year whilst we were still living in New Zealand, we chose Aperyer as this didn’t seem to phase them at all and they were more than happy to factor in the time difference to our original Skype meeting.
The whole process was smooth from beginning to end, Gemma and Matt were happy to accommodate our menu choices and always helpful, providing suggestions for dietary requirements and food quantity.
We were very much looking forward to finally meeting them in person at our tasting after our return to the UK and it did not disappoint, we were left full of excitement, food and with boxes of leftovers too.
Leading up to the day there was excellent communication, which greatly helped our stress levels. Gemma and Matt didn’t even mind us squeezing in a last minute guest.
The day was fantastic, the whole Aperyer team were so professional and everyone was extremely well fed, our guests are still telling us how great the food was – the Mac n cheese was definitely a crowd favourite. The way Gemma coordinated the day was better than we’d ever expected and we can’t say thank you enough for all your hard work.
Our menu was a sample of our favourite things so it’s very hard to pick a stand out moment; the lamb was stunning, and ALL four of our desert trio were wonderful. The late night pizza was gone almost instantaneously and ended the food on a high.
The Aperyer team go above and beyond whether it’s giving advice about timings and cheese or helping to portion and serve the wedding cake.

Ruth and Michael’s gorgeous rural wedding in Haworth was an absolute pleasure to be a part of. A fabulous tipi by the fab folks at Serentipi nestled on a hillside in the Yorkshire dales – and the scene was set!
This super lovely couple were so much fun to work with and chose all their favourite things to create their dream wedding menu (and really, what better theme than that on your special day?) A beautiful day with warm, welcoming guests, a fabulous Mr and Mrs, and a whole lot of love, laughter and food – what more could we ask for?!
