Lauren and Chris said…
“Gemma and Matt are the warmest people you could hope to meet, with a genuine passion for amazing food and wonderful events, so we knew that we were in safe hands for our wedding day.
From the start, they really made us feel involved in the menu plans, taking into account our favourite foods, whilst introducing us to new flavours and ideas, and most importantly really understood the style of our outdoor, relaxed wedding, creating a unique menu that was utterly delicious.
So many guests at our wedding said it was the best wedding food they had experienced, everything ran like clockwork on the day, nothing was too much trouble and the food was beautifully presented. (The croquembouche was my personal highlight!)
Thank you for being a huge part of our amazing wedding day.”
“…a unique menu that was utterly delicious”
Set in a gorgeous walled garden, Lauren and Chris’ outdoor wedding was simply beautiful. The sun was shining as guests sat on hay bales and watched the couple say their vows in a personal ceremony with friends and family officiating.
The bride styled the marquee with simple, elegant garlands and wild flowers adorned long wooden trestle tables. As the talented Jim Evans played folky tunes on his guitar, guests tucked into seasonal picnic-style food inspired by the couple’s favourite flavours and fresh ingredients:
Pan-fired salmon with teryaki sauce
Jerk chicken thighs
Summer vegetable loaf ‘cake’
Carrot and coriander quinoa with walnut
Sweet potato, beetroot and pomegranate
Mixed leaf with apple & date
Orange and feta with lime and chilli
Cheesy stuffed tear ‘n’ share breads
Mixed nuts and seeds with honey and rosemary
